Aurora Borealis: A Stunning Show in Northeast Ohio
Visible Friday Night
Residents across Northeast Ohio were treated to a breathtaking sight on Friday night as the aurora borealis, also known as the northern lights, made an appearance. The vibrant colors and dancing lights illuminated the night sky, creating a mesmerizing display.
Best Viewing Times
The best time to view the aurora is typically within an hour or two of midnight or 10 pm. For Ohio, the 10 pm Ohio weather forecast provided predictions of the intensity and location of the aurora borealis for that night and the following night. A viewline was also included to indicate the areas where the display would be most visible.
Additional Information
The aurora borealis is usually not visible this far south in North America, making this a unique event for Ohioans. The lights appeared to be most intense between 10 and 11 pm.
Residents should keep an eye on the skies on Saturday night, as there is a chance of another dazzling display of the aurora borealis. Updates on the intensity and location of the lights will be provided as they become available.
