Cats' Road Opener Set for Thursday Night

The University of Cincinnati football team will open its second season in the Big 12 Conference on Thursday night when it hosts Towson of the Coastal Athletic League at Nippert Stadium.

Cincinnati's Big 12 Debut

The Bearcats went 9-4 in their first season in the Big 12 in 2022, finishing tied for fourth place in the conference standings.

Cincinnati earned a berth in the Birmingham Bowl, where they lost to Louisville, 24-7.

Towson's Return to Nippert Stadium

Towson is making its first trip to Nippert Stadium since 2017, when the Tigers lost to the Bearcats, 38-21.

The Tigers went 7-5 last season and finished third in the CAA.
